- SNOW MACHINE SUPPORT
I am originally from Scotland and my
family still lives there. My adventurous spirit brought me to the
states in 1991, I planned to stay for a year, so here I am 14 years
later getting ready for a winter vacation other people dream of.
Living in Bethel for 7 years is probably my best training for the
run.
Unfortunately I moved to Anchorage 3.5 years ago and am now classed
as a city girl by my Bethel friends. Yes, I will have a fresh pedicure
before and after the Serum Run and have a massage booked for March
11.Word of warning to my fellow travelers, I am a night shift worker,
consequently do not do mornings well without caffeine.
I can't believe I am writing a bio
for me for the Serum Run.
I have been Heathers back-up support for 3 years and never expected
to be an actual participant. I expected to assemble supplies, bag
straw and pick up dogs at the airport. So this is by far the biggest
Alaskan adventure I have undertaken and I am both nervous and excited.
